DESIGN

Our team of experienced designers will assist in developing all design aspects of your space through the use of professional programs including AutoCAD and Revit, as well as providing high quality 3D renders of your project. This will allow you to visualise the details of your design prior to progressing.

The Design and construct service we provide allows for the convenience of having one point of contact throughout the fit-out process. Our team specialises in the design and construct methodology, capturing your ideas and transferring them to your design. Throughout the process we offer our extensive experience, with recommendations on layout and services, while ensuring that all plans will satisfy all required local regulations ensuring a quicker approval process.

When fitting out a new commercial space, it is a challenge in organising all the required compliance documentation and approvals prior to commencing and throughout the construction phase. That’s why, here at Everbest Projects, we endeavour to provide all the approval and construction documentation at a high standard required to obtain council and certifier approvals. Also, all required third party consultant documentation we will organise for you on your behalf in order to fast track the approval process.

DA or CDC?

The first steps in understanding the approval process for your next fit out is knowing the difference between a DA and CDC:

  • DA (Development Application) – Required when there is a change of use to the building or if there is any work being completed on a heritage listed property. The DA application/Approval is completed through your local council. Once the DA approval is received, a CC (Construction Certificate) approval is then required. This confirms that the changes made comply with the relevant standards and works may commence.
  • CDC (Complying Development Certificate) – Required when there is no change of use to the building, for example the tenancy was already approved for a Cafe and you wish to move in and operate another Cafe. The CDC application and approval is completed by a private certifier (PCA).
